Well, what is the point in having a website that no one reads if you don’t take the time to update it every 4-6 months with information no one cares about. Exactly. With that in mind, here are a few bits I’ve been working on the last few months:
I am back doing the Pop Culture segment on Louise McSharry’s great new podcast – Catch Up which has been great. I get to spend time with my friend and then later invoice her which is what friendship is really all about if you drill down into it. I’ve also been doing the entertainment panel on the Brendan O’Connor show on RTE Radio 1, giving TV and streaming recommendations for the week. They could be the greatest things your ears have the pleasure of hearing.
In other news, my first back page column for Image Magazine has been in the shops a while now with the summer issue due very soon I think. I am so delighted to be a part of a magazine I always had down on my dream work list and really appreciate my editor Lizzie Gore Grimes for giving me the chance. I’ve also been contributing articles to the website and writing for Rogue Collective too. Here’s one I wrote recently on ‘It’ll Calm Down Next Week’ and other lies we tell ourselves.
I’ve also been working away with the wonderful Sonya Lennon and Brendan Courtney on their podcast – The Lennon Courtney Podcast (we spent hours coming up with the name). Poz Vibe Podcast is back in season again and I’ve been producing that as well as working on some podcasts with Bauer Media. I’ll also be releasing two new podcasts in the next while with some great Irish hosts and am still (still!) working on my own creation.
That’s my work update for now – toodleoo!
